- Useful knowledge sits idle. Most people know something worth knowing. There's no low-effort way to offer it without turning it into a business.
- Trust between strangers. Ratings get gamed and punish newcomers. Completed purposes with distinct counterparties are harder to fake and say more.
- Money gets in the way. Not every favour should have a price tag. Kickfix treats payment as optional, so helping for free and getting paid properly are both first-class.
- Local selling is overbuilt. Selling a dozen eggs shouldn't require a webshop, a card terminal or a delivery contract.
